Summer staples like bikinis and floral sun-dresses are must-haves for every girl's closet but sometimes a girl just needs to spice things up to cater to their personal style. You’ll see girls at the beach in their standard triangle top bikinis, bandeau bikinis, occasionally a monokini, tankini, or a cover-up, but you want a piece that will set you apart from them. Think Reese’s strong, edgy swimwear and her naturalistic hand-crafted jewelry will do exactly this and set you miles apart from all your sun-seeking peers.
Born in Toronto, Sherise Cromwell dove into the fashion industry at the age of nineteen by experimenting with her own designs. In an effort to create more variety in her closet, she added little items, fabrics, and trinkets, which eventually led her to start altering and designing her own pieces. After she found happiness in designing her own clothes and jewelry, she decided to start her brand: REESE.
Although REESE is known for its swimwear and statement jewelry pieces, REESE also has other accessories such as sunglasses, in addition to a line of apparel. Most of her pieces are strong and monochromatic, but none are boring in the slightest. Two of her non-uniform pieces (in that they are in color rather than simply black or white) are still striking and bold, highlighting the spirit of the brand. Just like its apparel and swimwear, REESE’s line of jewelry make equally bold and stunning fashion statements, if not bolder and even more striking with their jewelry’s mixture of chrome colors and sudden splashes of bright azure. REESE even creates some apparel for men, most likely as a result of REESE wanting variety in fashion for both sexes rather than just women.
